Figma UX and UI of the app, CMS, and mail
Description
I took on the design of this app as a personal challenge. Working on an events app in a field quite different from my usual environment was refreshing in many ways. Meeting new people with inspiring missions made the design process genuinely enjoyable.
Process
Analyzing needs
The client’s need was to have a centralized platform that, on one side, gathered all the tools required to create events, and on the other, offered an app that connected with the association’s members, giving visibility to every event created.
For this reason, we decided to develop two separate platforms: the CMS platform and the app.
Wireframes
As always, working on the wireframes was essential. I approached this phase by running workshops together with the client and the developers, so we could understand their ideas and identify the best solution to adopt.
UI and Delivery
After working as a team on the UX and wireframing phase, I focused on creating a simple UI tailored to the target audience.
I also designed a shared UI Kit used across both the web CMS and the mobile app.
